About this dataset
- Public visitor parking areas in the National Park Service source. The source excludes restricted and administrative parking. This snapshot does not show current closures or available spaces.
- Snapshot prepared on 2026-10-10. The source observation dates may be earlier. This is not a live service.
- All 6,743 records from the selected source layer are retained. Count and object IDs were checked. Original source fields are retained; a display name is copied where available.
- Coordinates were transformed by the source service to WGS84. Altitude and measure values are omitted. No local simplification was applied.

- 34 source geometries had crossing rings. Shapely make_valid split those rings without a material change to polygon area. All records and fields were retained. Repair details are included with the source metadata.
